How I wrote a PhD thesis in 3 months

Before reading this post please note: it took three and a half years of full-time research to gather the data for my  PhD thesis; the three months refers only to the writing, which I did quickly at the end. I do not claim that everybody can write that fast, and certainly if you have not done the research it will be impossible. You probably won’t write as fast as I did, but you might gain some useful insights from the way I approached it. After almost 3 years, I was on the verge of quitting my PhD in the summer of 2006. I had nowhere near enough results, the equipment I was using didn’t work most of the time, and I could barely summon the motivation to get up in the morning.

My Hunt for Hillarys Radical Thesis

You don’t have to be a member of the media to go read Hillary Diane Rodham’s senior thesis. You just have to get yourself up to Wellesley and do it in person. And I should warn you that the cab from Logan ran me $75, without tip. They get a lot of calls about it, the nice people at Wellesley told me, but when the callers are informed that they have to come read it in person, few follow through. I assume that most of the callers are Hillary haters, on the prowl for evidence of her plot to destroy America Spoiler alert: If you go there searching for sentences like “Comrade Alinsky has shown us the one true way to overthrow the existing order,” you will come away disappointed.

How not to write a PhD thesis

My teaching break between Christmas and the university’s snowy reopening in January followed in the footsteps of Goldilocks and the three bears. I examined three PhDs: one was too big; one was too small; one was just right. Put another way, one was as close to a fail as I have ever examined; one passed but required rewriting to strengthen the argument; and the last reminded me why it is such a pleasure to be an academic. Concurrently, I have been shepherding three of my PhD students through the final two months to submission. These concluding weeks are an emotional cocktail of exhaustion, frustration, fright and exhilaration.

Hillary Clinton's 1969 Thesis on Saul Alinsky

“THERE IS ONLY THE FIGHT…” An Analysis of the Alinsky Model A thesis submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree under the Special Honors Program, Wellesley College, Wellesley, Massachusetts. Hillary D. Rodham Political Science 2 May, 1969 So here I am, in the middle way, having had twenty years—Twenty years largely wasted, the years of l’entre deux guerres  Trying to learn to use words, and every attempt Is a wholly new start, and a different kind of failure Because one has only learnt to get the better of words For the thing one no longer has to say, or the way in which One is no longer disposed to say it.

Can I be admitted into a PhD program with non-thesis MS degree?

Applying for a PhD program depends on your curriculum vitae and the research work you have done during the years before your PhD. One may have completed a MSc with research and thesis but his research topic is not that much current and that is not so much alluring for the professor who is seeking for a PhD research student. On the other hand, someone (probably like you) may have attended a MSc program which did not include any thesis or research work, but, the student was that much active and interested in doing research that his resume is full of scientific publications, research assistantships and voluntary academic work that the professor prefers to supervise him.

50 Fastest Accredited Online PhD Programs

Let’s be perfectly clear: Fast track programs to Ph. D. degrees are rare. That said, more and more legitimate online “accelerated” programs devised by brick and mortar schools are becoming available, particularly targeting working individuals, with master’s degrees, who want to earn that Ph. D. while continuing in their job. What exactly is the definition of a fast-track degree? Two, three years rather than four to six? Yes. That works. Example: Earning a Nursing Practitioner (DNP) degrees in two years; an online program allowing an RN to accelerate to a DNP while still on the job? Sure.

Thread: Found a New EdD w/ No Dissertation Requirement - Other Options

02-12-2013  05:33 PM #1 I came across this EdD program today. It is in Community College Leadership. It is fairly new and has 3 other options instead of a normal research dissertation. It is a 3 yr cohort model, all online with a few on-site visits per year. It is expensive at $572 per credit hour, but the tuition is the same in-state or out-of-state. Just in case anyone is interested, given those that into teaching and those looking for a doctorate. If I could find a way to finance this I would jump on it. Listen to me! Someone slap some sense into me! I'm finally nearing the end and can almost see the light and I want to dig myself into another 3 yr.
